R&B artist Vedo has unveiled his latest single, “Intentional,” a soulful track that underscores the significance of conscious love and meaningful connections. Produced by Camper, known for his work with Usher and Coco Jones, the song resonates with Vedo’s desire to prioritize genuine intentions in his relationships.

Over a backdrop of tender melodies and resonant bass, Vedo expresses his commitment to nurturing his partner’s needs effortlessly, while also seeking reciprocity to cement their bond. In the opening verse, he affirms, “Everything I do / Comes natural, so girl, you know it’s true / See, you won’t have to fight for my time / I’m yours.“

Reflecting on the message behind “Intentional,” Vedo shares, “I’m at a place in life where everything I do will be intentional: from the friends I keep, the places I go, to who I choose to love. Often times people sacrifice their happiness and peace for something or someone. Live an honest, kind, prosperous and ‘intentional’ life.”

Alongside the release of “Intentional,” Vedo treats his listeners to a 45-second teaser titled “Intentional (The Prologue),” featuring his real-life fiancé, offering an intimate glimpse into their relationship dynamics.

This poignant single marks Vedo’s return since the debut of his album Mood Swings in January. The album, comprising 13 tracks, included notable features from artists like Chris Brown and Tink. Among its standout tracks was “Do You Mind,” a collaboration with Chris Brown that ascended to No. 25 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.

“Intentional” serves as a continuation of Vedo’s exploration of emotions and connections. His previous album, Mood Swings, saw the artist collaborating with a team of writers, resulting in a collective effort that showcased his musical growth. Speaking about the album, Vedo mentioned, “The music speaks for itself, and we just want you to feel…whatever the emotion or mood is.“
