Usher and H.E.R.‘s collaborative effort, “Risk It All,” has quickly made its mark on the charts, entering the Adult R&B Airplay chart at No. 21 for the week dated December 23. The heartfelt duet, co-written and produced by H.E.R., signifies Usher’s 37th entry on this chart. Notably, he leads the chart for the fifth non-consecutive week with “Good Good,” featuring 21 Savage and Summer Walker.
“Good Good,” produced by Mel & Mus, has become Usher’s eighth No. 1 hit on the Adult R&B Airplay chart. Meanwhile, “Risk It All” marks H.E.R.’s 11th appearance on this chart, with eight songs reaching the top 10 and seven securing the top spot.

In its second week on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, “Risk It All” has ascended from No. 47 to No. 36. Usher has now accumulated 67 entries on this chart, including 16 No. 1s and 35 top 10s. H.E.R. has charted a dozen times, including five top 10s.
The collaboration is gaining momentum on radio, reaching No. 14 on R&B radio and climbing to No. 44 on urban radio. Since its release on December 7, “Risk It All” has garnered over 436,000 streams on Spotify.
Originally released as the second offering from The Color Purple (Music From and Inspired By) soundtrack, “Risk It All” will also be part of Usher’s ninth studio album, Coming Home, scheduled for release on February 9, 2024. The album will include other tracks such as “Good Good” and Usher’s official remix of “Standing Next to You” by K-pop artist Jung Kook.
Usher expressed excitement about his upcoming album, stating, “We’ve put a lot of thought and creativity into this new album to tell a story that is open to interpretation and that will connect with people in different ways.”
In addition to his musical endeavors, Usher is set to headline Apple Music’s Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024.
As for H.E.R., the Oscar and Grammy winner will play the role of Squeak in the musical adaptation of The Color Purple, set to release on December 25 in the U.S. and globally on January 18, 2024.
