Alt-soul singer Kyle Dion has announced the release date for his upcoming EP, If My Jeans Could Talk, set to drop on January 19, 2024, via Position Music. This marks Dion’s first project released under the label. The EP announcement is accompanied by the release of the lead single “Let’s Get It On,” produced by Soran.
Dion shared insights into the creation of If My Jeans Could Talk, revealing that he recorded a significant portion of the EP in Montreal with friends Miko and Soran. He expressed gratitude for the safe and vulnerable space that allowed him to delve into various themes in the project. Dion also thanked his supporters for allowing him to live the past year, signifying his return to the music scene.
Accompanying the EP announcement is the official music video for “Let’s Get It On,” directed by Rachel Rinehardt. In the video, Dion embarks on a motorcycle ride into the city, where he encounters a captivating girl through a convenience store window. The video reflects Dion’s enthusiastic expression of his feelings towards her.

To celebrate the release of If My Jeans Could Talk, Kyle Dion has revealed the dates for his US/EU Pop-Up Tour, commencing on February 21, 2024, in Los Angeles at Echoplex and concluding on March 7, 2024, at Jazz Café in London, United Kingdom. Additional performances include Knitting Factory in New York.
If My Jeans Could Talk serves as the follow-up to Dion’s sophomore album, SASSY, released in September 2021. In a previous interview with Rated R&B, Dion highlighted how Michael Jackson’s Bad album inspired his second full-length, infusing a pop-leading sound with attitude and a touch of raunchiness.
