Tinashe has made a triumphant return with her latest album, BB/ANG3L, released through Ricky Reed’s Nice Life Recording Company.

This seven-track album features previously revealed songs like “Needs” and “Talk To Me Nice.” The latter, co-produced by Nosaj Thing and Scoop DeVille, offered fans the first glimpse of her new musical era.

According to Tinashe, BB/ANG3L is all about exploring self-identity and challenging the perceptions others hold about her.

She stated, “I believe how we identify in this world is ultimately our own personal choice. I’ve enjoyed shedding layers of superficiality, breaking through the smokescreen, and cutting through the noise to reach the core of myself. I want this album to reflect who we are at our core, in those raw, unfiltered moments when we are alone.

BB/ANG3L delivers songs with flirty and irresistible vibes, practically compelling you to leave a late-night venue, drenched in sweat, with your crush. This theme permeates tracks like “Treason” and “Uh Huh.”

Yet, the album isn’t confined to sexy club anthems. Tinashe’s “None Of My Business” delves into a secret toxic affair where she succumbs to temptation despite knowing better.

Earlier this week, Tinashe appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America to perform “Tightrope,” a track featured on BB/ANG3L.

BB/ANG3L serves as the follow-up to Tinashe’s 333 (Deluxe), an extended version of her 2021 album.

In August, Tinashe and British artist Shygirl announced their co-headlining tour for this fall. The joint tour will hit venues across North America, commencing on October 28 and concluding on November 18.
