R&B icon Maxwell is gearing up to headline the annual Fireworks Finale at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. The three-night event is scheduled to take place from September 8 to September 10.
Maxwell won’t be taking the stage alone. The lineup includes rising talents Pink Sweat$, SiR, and Raveena, each set to perform on specific nights as opening acts for Maxwell.
Pink Sweat$ will be showcasing his newly-released project, Volume 3, featuring tracks like “Run Through Fire” and “Guitar,” which he has previously shared.
SiR, known for his soulful sound, may present songs from his upcoming album, including hits like “Nothing Even Matters” and “Satisfaction.” Earlier this year, “Nothing Even Matters” marked SiR’s first top-10 hit on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
In 2022, Raveena dropped her album Asha’s Awakening, following her 2021 release Lucid. The album featured collaborations with artists like Vince Staples, TWEAKS, and Asha Puthli.
Maxwell’s participation in the Fireworks Finale is aligned with his ongoing Trilogy shows that have been captivating audiences since 2022.

The Grammy-winning artist’s busy schedule for the year includes a special guest appearance with Mariah Carey at the Hip Hop Forever concert on September 15, alongside headliners Mary J. Blige and Tyrese.
Looking ahead, Maxwell has plans for the Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite Cruise, scheduled for February 2024 aboard the Norwegian Pearl. The cruise lineup includes performances by Ledisi, Musiq Soulchild, Robert Glasper, Leela James, Sabrina Claudio, and Gallant.
Fans are also eagerly anticipating the release of Maxwell’s album blacksummers’NIGHT, which is hinted to be the final installment of his album series. The artist teased its arrival through a recent social media post.
Maxwell’s track record includes a two-week reign on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart in 2022 with “Off,” his eighth chart-topper on the list. The song is expected to be part of the upcoming album NIGHT.
