Normani, the talented artist known for her chart-topping hits, is making significant changes as she readies herself for a musical comeback. After parting ways with Brandon Silverstein of S10 Entertainment, she has enlisted the expertise of new managers, Brandon Creed and Lydia Asrat.
Normani’s representative shared with Rolling Stone, “With new music on the horizon, and Asrat and Creed now at the helm of her musical career, she and the rest of her team are extremely excited to embark on this new chapter and partnership. She wishes Silverstein all the best.”
Both Creed and Asrat are jointly managing Normani while also tending to their separate clients under their respective management companies. Creed’s newly established Good World Management boasts an impressive roster including Mark Ronson, Charlie XCX, and Troye Sivan. Asrat, from 10Q Management, oversees clients like Coco Jones.
Fans can anticipate new music from Normani soon. In June, she collaborated with Bose to promote their products and unveiled a snippet of her upcoming song “Candy Paint” in a one-minute advertisement. Speaking to Billboard about the track, she shared her intention to showcase her personality through the song, challenging a common misconception about her seriousness. She expressed her desire to let her true self shine through in her music, highlighting her fun-loving and humorous side.
While it remains to be confirmed whether “Candy Paint” will be her first single of the year, Normani’s musical track record is impressive. Her 2022 single “Fair,” produced by HARV, garnered attention and topped Billboard’s R&B Digital Songs chart. Normani’s musical success extends to hit collaborations like “Dancing With A Stranger” with Sam Smith, “Love Lies” with Khalid, and “Wild Side” with Cardi B, which earned her first No. 1 on urban radio and won Best Dance Performance at the 2021 Soul Train Awards.
Despite a brief period of limited solo output, Normani‘s collaboration with artists like Josh Levi, Tinashe, and Calvin Harris showcased her versatility and continued impact on the music scene.
