MOONGA K., an emerging singer and songwriter, has released a new single titled “Lonely Forever,” produced by Quietmoneymusic. The bluesy and introspective track sees the Zambian-born, Botswana-raised artist trying to make sense of his repeated patterns of failed relationships.
In the first verse of the song, MOONGA K. sings about his frustration with constantly picking the wrong partners, leaving himself hurt and questioning if he’s an “idiot” for falling for the wrong people. He explains that writing about his experiences has always been therapeutic for him, and he loves the idea of falling in love, but never receives the same level of affection back.
The artist shares that he has questioned his own worthiness and wondered why his journey of love seems destined to end in loneliness. He has been taking these questions to the altar, but has also come to accept that things will be as they are meant to be.
“Lonely Forever” is MOONGA K.‘s latest release, following his October 2022 drop, “Feels Like.” Both songs are expected to be featured on his upcoming sophomore album, Garden, which is set to release in September on Wild Everest Records.
Garden will mark MOONGA K.‘s first proper album since his 2018 release, Wild Solace. In the meantime, he has released three EPs: An Ode to Growth in 2020, Candid in 2021, and IV in 2022.
