GIVĒON’s latest song, “Time,” has all the right elements.
The forthcoming David O. Russell film Amsterdam’s closing credits feature the R&B sensation’s comeback with his dramatic new song. The baritone vocalist speaks about a cherished friendship while the sweeping woodwind and piano music play in the background.
“And those moments will stay forever / So I thank you for the time we had together,” he sings over the soaring soundtrack.
Drake, a “Chicago Freestyle” collaborator of GIVĒON’s, and the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton collaborated on the song “Time,” which they also produced with Jahaan Sweet.
Amsterdam, which is executive produced by Drake and debuts in theaters on October 7, stars Christian Bale, John David Washington, and Margot Robbie. the same day, the soundtrack is delivered.
In promotion of his first album Give or Take, which was released in June, Giveon is now touring the nation.
