Keke Palmer and her Big Bosses Entertainment label have teamed up with SRG-ILS Group. SRG-ILS Group, which distributes its music through Virgin Music Group/UMG, has a lineup that includes artists like Chaka Khan, Keith Sweat, Lalah Hathaway, Tito Jackson, and Kenny Lattimore. According to press materials, Palmer’s first release under this new partnership is set for early summer.
In spring 2023, Palmer released her album “Big Boss” via Big Bosses Entertainment and followed it up with a deluxe edition in the fall. She promoted the album with a sold-out headlining tour. Other projects released by Palmer under Big Bosses Entertainment include “Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 1” and “Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 2” from 2020.
Palmer founded Big Bosses Entertainment in 2017 with her mother, Sharon Palmer, and her longtime music manager, Big Billy Clark.
In other news, the Emmy-winning actress is set to star in an untitled buddy comedy with R&B star SZA. Deadline reports that Lawrence Lamont (Rap Sh!t) will direct the Issa Rae-produced film, which will be released under TriStar Pictures.
On November 19, Palmer will release her memoir “Master of Me” via Flatiron Books.
