Despite a significant decrease in sales compared to its debut week, with 128,000 equivalent units sold, the album continues to reign supreme. This achievement marks Beyoncé’s longest consecutive run at No. 1 since her 2013 self-titled album, which spent three weeks atop the Billboard 200.

Additionally, “Cowboy Carter” dominates other Billboard charts, including Top Streaming Albums, Americana/Folk Albums, and Top Country Albums. Notably, Beyoncé makes history on the Top Country Albums chart as the first Black woman to reach the summit.

The lead single from the album, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” remains a powerhouse across multiple charts, securing the fifth position on the Hot 100 this week. It continues to lead the Top Country Songs chart for the ninth consecutive week.

Furthermore, “Texas Hold ‘Em” maintains its dominance across various other charts, including Hot Country Songs, Country Digital Song Sales, and Country Streaming Songs.

Released on March 29 under Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records, “Cowboy Carter” features collaborations with a diverse array of artists such as Brittany Spencer, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, and Post Malone. The album boasts a rich blend of writing and production talent, including contributions from The-Dream, Pharrell Williams, and Raphael Saadiq, among others.

Originally planned for release earlier, “Cowboy Carter” was delayed due to the pandemic. Beyoncé felt that the world needed a lighter atmosphere, opting to release her previous album, “Renaissance,” in 2022 as the first installment of a larger project.
