Chris Brown is celebrating a remarkable achievement as his 2019 hit single “No Guidance,” featuring Drake, surpasses 1 billion streams on Spotify.
This Grammy-nominated track marks Brown’s second song to reach this impressive milestone on Spotify, following his sleeper hit “Under the Influence,” which crossed the billion mark last September. For Drake, “No Guidance” stands as his 15th credited song to achieve this milestone.
“No Guidance” not only dominated streaming platforms but also soared to the top of various Billboard charts, including R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Adult R&B Airplay, Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Hot R&B Songs, R&B Digital Song Sales, and Rhythmic Airplay. Its success underscores its widespread appeal across different formats.
Appearing on Brown’s 2019 album, Indigo, both “Under the Influence” and “No Guidance” contributed to the album’s chart-topping success. Indigo, released in June 2019, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was later certified gold by the RIAA, solidifying Brown’s status as a chart-topping artist.
Looking ahead, Brown is preparing to drop the deluxe edition of his 11th album, titled 11:11 (Deluxe), on April 11. The expanded version will feature 13 new tracks and collaborations with Bryson Tiller, Davido, Tee Grizzley, Joyner Lucas, and more.
In addition to his upcoming album release, Brown is set to headline J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival alongside SZA in Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 6. Following this, he will embark on his headlining 11:11 Tour, commencing in Detroit, Michigan, on June 5.
