Durand Jones & The Indications Release New Single “Lovers’ Holiday”

Durand Jones & The Indications return with “Lovers’ Holiday,” the third single from their highly anticipated album Flowers, out June 27 via Dead Oceans. The sun-drenched track, featuring lush percussion and romantic lyricism, captures the spirit of a dreamy getaway. “We didn’t want to give ourselves any rules… We wanted to make something authentic to our sound,” the band shared.

Accompanied by a scenic video filmed in nature by Kimo Kennedy and Andy Woodward, the song follows earlier singles “Flower Moon” and “Been So Long.” Speaking on Flowers, Jones notes the album explores “mature topics” with a sense of growth, while Aaron Frazer emphasizes the mix of playfulness and wisdom they’ve gained through the years.

Flowers follows 2021’s Private Space. In the meantime, both Jones (Wait Til I Get Over) and Frazer (Into the Blue) released acclaimed solo projects.

The band will support the release with a North American tour beginning September 10 in Tucson and wrapping November 16 in Dallas. Select dates, including Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Vancouver, are already sold out.
