Dende, a rising R&B artist from Texas, has officially signed with Def Jam Recordings and released his major-label debut single, “The Louvre“. This significant step in his career provides him with a larger platform to show his talent.

Dende joins a roster at Def Jam that includes R&B artists. In a statement, Dende expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating, “I’m honestly just excited for the opportunity to showcase our talents on a bigger scale than ever before. His new single, “The Louvre,” features Swedish GRAMMY-nominated artist LUCIIA. The song was co-produced by Dende’s longtime collaborator Billy Blunt and DAB. Dende describes the song as a reflection on inspiration and the power of connection through art.

He elaborates, “A muse is a word used to describe someone who brings inspiration to an artist. Our single ‘The Louvre’ is about feeling like you don’t have any inspiration at all, creativity, or just going through your day happily and then finding that in someone else“. He also mentioned that “The Louvre” is one of his favorite songs he’s made in a while.

“The Louvre” is available now on major streaming platforms. This release is well-timed for Valentine’s Day, offering a soundtrack for romance.
