The opening night of the Broadway musical ‘Death Becomes Her’ at New York City’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre turned into an impromptu Destiny’s Child reunion, with Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland coming together to support Michelle Williams‘ starring role as Viola Van Horn on Thursday, November 21.

Beyoncé took to Instagram on Saturday to share her excitement, posting a series of photos and clips from the event. The posts featured moments from the show, which also stars Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, and Christopher Sieber, capturing the essence of the musical adaptation of the 1992 dark comedy film by Universal Pictures.

Captioned “My Belle,” one of Beyoncé’s posts included snapshots of Williams looking radiant on her big night, along with images of the trio with Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, and other candid shots from the evening. The posts not only showcased the production’s playbill and Beyoncé’s chic outfit but also the close bond shared by the former bandmates. Set to Cowboy Carter’s “II Most Wanted,” Beyoncé’s second post conveyed a heartfelt message, highlighting her enduring support for her “sisters.”

Williams responded to the sentimental tribute, commenting, “I try not to cry too early in the day BUT……. My sisters 4ever!”

This reunion comes after Williams expressed regret last month for missing a rally in Houston with Beyoncé and Rowland for Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 election due to her Broadway commitments. Despite her absence, Williams praised her bandmates for representing her, saying in an appearance on the ‘Sherri’ show, “It was the first time that I have not been able to be in person for something that I wanted to be at … It’s a sacrifice that we make [being] on Broadway.”

The trio, which last released a studio album, ‘Destiny Fulfilled’, twenty years ago, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in December 2004, demonstrated that their bond remains as strong as ever with their latest gathering.
