ROSÉ, already a familiar name atop the charts, has claimed another number one hit with her latest single “Number One Girl,” released on November 22 through Atlantic Records/THEBLACKLABEL. In this lovestruck track, the BLACKPINK star explores themes of romantic longing, singing in the chorus, “So what’s it gon’ take for you to want me/ I’d give it all up if you told me/ That I’d be the number one girl in your eyes.” ROSÉ also took on the role of director for the song’s music video, adding a personal touch to the project.

Following her recent successful collaboration with Bruno Mars on the track “APT.,” which not only soared to the top of the Billboard Japan Hot 100 but also maintained the number one spot on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts for four consecutive weeks, “Number One Girl” is setting a similar trajectory.

These singles will feature on ROSÉ’s upcoming album titled rosie, set for release on December 6. The album marks her first solo LP, and ROSÉ shared her emotional investment in the project, stating, “I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine. Rosie – is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me. And yes, it’s a full-length album.”

The press release notes that ROSÉ has co-produced and co-written the album, which includes 12 tracks. Described as her “most personal and candid” work to date, the album promises to offer deeper insights into the artist’s emotional and creative world.
