Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer TAVE has launched his artist career with the debut single “No More Maybes,” featuring German singer-songwriter Bibi Bourelly and Los Angeles soul artist India Shawn. TAVE, who has collaborated with R&B artists like Little Mix, 6LACK, SiR, Kelly Rowland, and The-Dream, is now focused on establishing his own voice. After signing with Warner Music UK, he’s set on making an impact as an artist.
Known for his “feel-good” music, TAVE brings a smooth, trap soul vibe in this track, complemented by guitar and a balanced tempo. “No More Maybes,” released in July, tells the story of taking control of your happiness and demanding what you deserve.
In the second verse, TAVE sings about finding peace: “I hate to say I hate it here / sometimes I think of ways to disappear / Mama said life is what you make it / Tell me, is this what I created?” The chorus reinforces this theme with the line, “I don’t wanna be here no more, no more maybes,” encouraging listeners to take action and pursue their desires.
With a career spanning roles as a musician, songwriter, music director, and A&R executive across London, New York, Los Angeles, and Saint Lucia, TAVE’s music is shaped by his diverse experiences, giving him a distinctive style.
TAVE’s recent successes include co-writing and co-producing Aespa’s debut single, which topped the Billboard Hot Shot Debut charts, contributing to Masego’s Grammy-nominated album “Studying Abroad: Extended Stay,” and working on 6LACK’s Grammy-nominated album “Since I Have a Lover.” TAVE’s mission is clear: to spread positivity and inspiration through his music, encouraging others to follow their passions.
