On Billboard’s charts, “If You Could See You” has also made strides, moving from No. 3 to No. 2 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, currently led by Lucky Daye’s “That’s You” for a second week.
J. Brown shared his thoughts on the track, saying, “I love this record because of its empowering message for women. It’s about recognizing beauty in oneself, even when it’s not immediately apparent. It’s a reminder of the inner beauty everyone possesses.”
“If You Could See You” and “My Whole Heart” are both featured on J. Brown’s album, The Art of Making Love, released on July 28, 2023, via Mocha Music/SRG-ILS Group. The album also includes the single “Weightless,” featuring Kevin Ross.
