R&B powerhouse Keke Wyatt has announced her new album, Certified, set to release on June 28 via Shanachie Entertainment. The 10-track project features the lead single “Water Into Wine” and the sultry title track, available now. “Certified” showcases Wyatt inviting her partner into a romantic encounter with lyrics like, “So I hope that you ain’t scared to wet the bed up / We gon’ turn this to a slip and slide.”
Wyatt co-wrote the song with Kissie Lee, Elvis Williams, and Alphonso Crawford. This album is her first in seven years, following 2017’s Keke Covers. Her last original album, Rated Love, was released in 2016.
In January 2023, Wyatt re-signed with Shanachie Entertainment, where she previously released Who Knew? (2010) and Unbelievable (2011). Expressing her excitement, Wyatt said she aims to create magic and make history with her new music, offering fans themes of love, hope, and trust.
