Queens of R&B Unite: Xscape & SWV Announce Co-Headlining Tour

Legendary R&B groups Xscape & SWV are joining forces for a long-awaited co-headlining tour, aptly titled “The Queens of R&B Tour.” The North American trek kicks off June 27th at the Toyota Pavilion in Concord, California, and features a powerhouse lineup of special guests: Mýa, Total, and 702.

Produced by Monami Entertainment and Live Nation, the tour winds its way across major cities like Las Vegas, Dallas, Tampa, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and St. Louis before culminating on August 18th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

“This historic tour announcement during Women’s History Month is incredibly meaningful,” declares Mona Scott-Young, founder and CEO of Monami Entertainment. “It’s a testament to the enduring power of women in music, overcoming adversity and achieving triumph.”

Scott-Young elaborates, “702, Total, Mýa, SWV, and Xscape have all faced challenges throughout their careers, yet they remain stronger than ever. We’re thrilled to present fans with an unforgettable live experience that celebrates the rich legacy of R&B music.”

Presale tickets become available on March 26th, followed by general public sales starting March 29th at 10 a.m. local time.

The tour draws inspiration from Xscape & SWV’s reality series, “Queens of R&B,” which aired on Bravo in 2023. The six-episode limited series documented the tumultuous journey of putting together a live concert, alongside personal stories and group dynamics. While the show hinted at potential disagreements regarding a co-headlining tour – including who would open and close – it seems both parties have reached a harmonious agreement for the greater good of R&B.

SWV’s recent stint on the Summer Block Party Tour alongside Jodeci and Dru Hill further fueled fans’ anticipation for this monumental R&B event.
