British R&B icon Craig David is set to embark on his first tour in six years with the announcement of the 7 Days Commitment Tour, spanning eight cities across North America.

The tour kicks off on May 4 at the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, promising fans an unforgettable night filled with David’s signature soulful tunes. From there, David will grace stages in San Francisco, New York, Toronto, and more, before wrapping up the tour on May 16 at Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.

The tour announcement follows David’s recent collaboration with singer Wes Nelson on the mesmerizing track “Abracadabra,” released on Feb. 2. Nelson expressed his admiration for David, citing him as a lifelong inspiration and describing their collaboration as a natural and exciting creative endeavor.

David’s latest album, 22, released on Sept. 30, 2022, via Moor Records, marks his eighth studio album and pays homage to the 22nd anniversary of his groundbreaking debut, Born to Do It. Featuring collaborations with artists such as Muni Long, MNEK, and Galantis, the album seamlessly blends David’s signature sound with contemporary influences, showcasing his evolution as an artist while staying true to his roots.

Reflecting on the album’s significance, David explained, “There’s a spiritualism in the number 22 and what it represents… On this album, there’s that energy mixed with the wisdom and experience I can bring to the world.”
