Iggy Azalea, known for her chart-topping hit “Fancy” and her notable rise in the music industry a decade ago, seems to be taking a significant turn in her career. Marking her ten-year journey in the music world, Azalea has recently hinted at a potential retirement from music, a revelation that came through a heartfelt message to her fans on X (formerly Twitter).
Azalea, in her message, delved into her creative process and the joy she derives from bringing her ideas to life. She emphasized that her decision isn’t a result of being “bullied away from music,” stating, “I’ve always laughed at that because I’d never be bullied out of anything! In fact, I’m too stubborn. I think I’ve even resisted changes within myself at times, purely because I don’t like being viewed as someone who quits.”

The rapper had previously been working on her fourth studio album, with Tory Lanez as the executive producer, following her 2021 album The End of an Era. This new project was set to continue her musical evolution, featuring collaborations with artists like BIA and Tyga.
However, Azalea has now revealed a shift in her passions, focusing more on design and creative direction than on songwriting.
