Ryan Leslie Makes a Comeback with “Run It Back” and Announces Tour Dates

Ryan Leslie

Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Ryan Leslie has returned to the music scene with his latest single, Run It Back,” marking his first release in four years. The track, built on retro beeps and blips, showcases Leslie’s plea to navigate through challenging times in a relationship.

In the chorus, Leslie sings, Baby, I never meant to do you like that / Maybe we should run it back / We did some things I know we probably regret / So maybe we should run it back. The song was initially previewed on Leslie’s social media accounts during the summer, with a link to mynewalbum.com, creating anticipation among fans.

“Run It Back” follows Leslie’s EP Fleurier Flows, which was independently released in 2019 on his label, Black Phoenix Enterprises. The EP features four tracks, and since then, fans have eagerly awaited new music from the accomplished artist.

While details about Leslie’s upcoming album, including the title and release date, remain undisclosed, he has directed fans to a dedicated website for updates. This single marks a significant return for Leslie, who hasn’t released a full-length album since his sixth and final album, MZRT (The Magnificently Zealous Renegade Takeover), in 2015.

To accompany his musical comeback, Ryan Leslie has announced the You Know My Speed Tour 2024, which will take place in the U.K. and Europe. The 10-date tour, powered by Superphone and Latfro, kicks off on March 21, 2024, at O2 Academy Islington in London and concludes on April 7 at Cabaret Sauvage in Paris.

In addition to his music career, Ryan Leslie is actively involved in raising awareness about financial education through WealthPlan Elite, his mentorship program catering to young professionals, music managers, creatives, and entrepreneurs.
