“Thank Me For That“ serves as the lead single from J. Valentine’s much-anticipated debut album, Conversations With Women. The songwriting credits include J. Valentine himself, along with Shawn Holmes, Feather, and Daniel Morris.

This release follows J. Valentine’s collaborations with Tank on the chart-topping bedroom banger “Slow,” featured on Tank’s final album, R&B Money. The track spent two weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. Furthermore, the duo performed “Slow” at the 2022 Soul Train Awards.

J. Valentine’s solo discography has been relatively quiet since his 2012 EP, Love & Other Drugs, which featured collaborations with artists like Chris Brown, LeToya Luckett, and Tank. Last year, he joined Tank on the R&B Money Podcast, adding another dimension to his contributions to the genre.
