Inayah, the dynamic singer and songwriter, is making a powerful return with her latest single, “For The Streets.” This confrontational anthem, produced by BoogzDaBeast and Pyro Da God, draws inspiration from Fantasia‘s cultural hit “When I See You.”

On this track, Inayah delivers a no-nonsense message as she confronts a cheating partner and decisively cuts ties upon discovering his betrayal. The song resonates with redemptive declarations such as “I’m finally living stress-free” and “I can do bad on my own.”

The official audio release of “For The Streets” follows the viral success of Inayah’s live performance as part of the From the Block series, amassing an impressive 772,000 views on YouTube since its upload on Nov. 8.

This new single marks Inayah’s first release since her EP, Insecure, which dropped in September 2022. The eight-track project, which navigates her postpartum jouberney, features a collaboration with Oscar and Grammy nominee Dixson and includes previously shared hits like “Most Girlz” and “Always Something.”

“Insecure is an emotional rollercoaster of me attempting to sanely navigate my postpartum journey. The project healed me, and I hope that it can touch and do the same for anyone listening,” shared Inayah.

Earlier this year, Inayah hit the road in support of “Insecure” and graced the stage at the inaugural Honeyland Festival in Sugar Land, Texas. In September, she received a platinum certification for her 2019 fan favorite “Best Thing,” marking a significant milestone in her career.
