Drake‘s friendly request has led Grammy-winning singer Yebba to officially release her song, “Waterfall (I Adore You).” The song was sampled by the rap icon in his track “Polar Opposites,” featured as the final song on his latest album, For All The Dogs.

In an Instagram Stories post, Drake humorously demanded Yebba to release the full song, stating, “@yebbasmith drop the full song from the end of ‘Polar Opposites.’ This is not a request, it’s a demand.”

In response, Yebba posted on her Stories, “Drake said it, so we must.”

Co-produced by Yebba and John Rooney, “Waterfall (I Adore You)” showcases her exceptional vocal skills. The West Memphis, Arkansas, native serenades her loved one over soothing instrumentation, expressing deep admiration and affection. The lyrics encapsulate a profound sense of love and connection.

Yebba has even released an alternate version of the song, featuring R&B newcomer and songwriter Sweata, who adds his touch to the third verse.

“Waterfall (I Adore You)” marks Yebba’s return to the music scene since her 2022 EP, Live at Electric Lady. The EP presented live renditions of songs from her 2021 debut album, Dawn, which featured collaborations with artists like A$AP Rocky and Smino.
