Celebrated EGOT winner John Legend is marking the milestone 10th anniversary of his fourth album, Love in the Future, with a limited-edition vinyl release. The special version will be pressed on vibrant 2LP apple red vinyl and will be exclusively available through Walmart starting August 25, retailing at $33.97 online.
The album Love in the Future, originally released on September 3, 2013, under GOOD Music/Columbia, was a collaborative effort with Kanye West and Dave Tozer, and Legend served as the executive producer. Debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, the album made a significant impact, selling 68,000 copies in its first week and charting for an impressive 91 weeks.

The album yielded several hit singles that resonated with audiences. Notably, the track “All of Me” became Legend’s first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, remaining in the top spot for three weeks in the spring of 2014. Its journey to the top took 30 weeks, with Pharrell‘s “Happy” briefly interrupting its ascent. In September 2020, “All of Me” achieved a remarkable feat, earning Legend his first diamond singles certification from the RIAA, signifying over 10 million equivalent units sold. Its status has since advanced to 14x multi-platinum.
The album also featured other notable singles, including “Who Do We Think We Are” featuring Rick Ross and “You & I (Nobody in the World).” “You & I (Nobody in the World)” peaked at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieved platinum certification in March 2022.
Aside from celebrating the album’s anniversary with the special vinyl release, Legend is set to embark on the An Evening with John Legend residency, beginning on September 3 and spanning various dates and cities until November 11.
