Four young talents – Big Boy (18), Chulo (17), Tyvas (16), and Rocco (12) – have joined forces to form the R&B boy band Wanmor. The sons of Wanyá Morris, a member of the legendary R&B group Boyz II Men, the quartet is set to revive the boy band genre with their self-titled debut EP released on Beautiful Life Productions/300 Entertainment.
Wanmor has already made waves in the music industry with their debut single, “Every Pretty Girl In The City,” which has been #1 on Urban Radio’s most-added record list. The EP features seven new tracks that showcase the group’s head-nodding basslines, throwback production, impressive vocal runs, and fiery falsetto.
The EP also includes a remix of “Every Pretty Girl In The City” featuring King Combs, who brings his signature playboy rhymes and swagger.
Mary J. Blige, who signed Wanmor to her label, Beautiful Life Productions, said in an interview with Vibe Magazine last September, “When we heard WanMor sing, we knew we could stop looking. They are IT! Supporting and cultivating true R&B talent is why I started Beautiful Life Productions, and I couldn’t be more proud to do this with these young men.”
The CEO of 300 Entertainment, Kevin Liles, has praised the group for their talents, saying, “WanMor is what we have been missing in music. There’s no one out like them. They’re bringing the superstar R&B group back. R&B is not dead.”
Wanmor’s self-titled EP has been five years in the making, as the brothers honed their sound and performed across the country. The EP showcases their incredible talents individually and as a group. Wanmor expressed their goal for the EP was to “bring the love, fun, and excitement back.”
