Cassy, the celebrated DJ, producer and vocalist, has released a new EP, titled ‘The Mission’, to celebrate her 20th anniversary in the music industry. The EP, released on her own Kwench Records, is her first solo release since 2021 and features two tracks that showcase her love for Eurodance, house and techno.

‘The Mission’ EP is a testament to Cassy’s versatile talent, with her ability to create a range of sounds and styles that resonate with listeners around the world. According to Cassy, the EP was inspired by her love for Eurodance and techno music, which helped her reignite her creative spark.

In an interview, she said, “After becoming totally uninspired I started listening to genres like Drum n Bass, but also Eurodance hits like ‘Rhythm of the Night’, La Bouche ‘Be My Lover’ and was just taken back by the force of these tracks. No matter where you are, they make you happy for a second, even if it’s a guilty pleasure you will start dancing or smiling.”

The EP’s lead track, ‘Inside Dance’, is a joyous and energetic track that showcases Cassy’s unbridled passion for dance music. It is a “total shameless expression,” as Cassy puts it. The second track, ‘The Get On Down,’ is a driving house and techno fusion that Cassy loves to mix and play.

Cassy’s musical journey has been an incredible one, and her contribution to the industry has been recognized through various accolades and achievements. She is set to play at DJ Mag Miami’s pool party 2023, which will take place at the Sagamore Hotel as part of the Epic Pool Parties series, from 22nd to 26th March. The event promises to be a fantastic showcase of some of the world’s best DJs and electronic music producers.
