Gene Moore, a gospel singer, reunites with India.Arie for his emotional new song, “Beautiful.” It was produced by the Ohio band Red Hands and composed by Jayshawn Champion. This sincere song, which oozes genuine romantic delight, nearly makes you hear a couple in love clink champagne flutes together.
Moore and Arie seem really soulful as they explain all the reasons why their relationship is unique. Moore starts singing, “Every day I wake up with you on my mind / When it comes to love you gettin’ all of mine / Imma never tell you no, it’s yes all the time / Every single thing I need, you multiply.”
Arie responds, “Yes I was made for you / Can’t get away from you / Walking and talking with you be so good / Everywhere claiming you / It’s not a game with you / Nothing and no one can tell me about you.”
Moore’s first taste of brand-new music as a lead artist since 2019’s Tunnel Vision is “Beautiful.” At the 62nd Grammy Awards, the album was up for Best Gospel Album.
For “The Better Benediction,” Moore received his second Grammy nomination. He last collaborated with Arie on holiday music in 2014.
Zacardi Cortez, Samoht, Tim Rogers, and Darrell “MusiqCity” Walls are also featured on the song, which is taken from PJ Morton’s critically acclaimed album Watch The Sun. The Grammys in 2023 nominated it for Best Gospel Performance.
Arie most recently served as the festival’s headlining act at its third iteration in Washington, D.C. The National Symphony Orchestra helped her perform her Grammy-winning singles.
