According to ScreenRant, “Oscar-nominated actor Shohreh Aghdashloo and Awkwafina have been cast in the film alongside comedy veterans Ben Schwartz of Parks and Recreation fame and The Good Place regular Brandon Scott James. Awkwafina’s character will be the love interest of Hoult’s Renfield, and their budding relationship will act as a catalyst for the events of the film. Written by some of the creative minds behind Rick and Morty, Invincible, and The Walking Dead, Renfield‘s ratings suggest that many of those properties’ defining traits will be present in the film and portrayed to the screen by its experienced cast of both comedic and dramatic actors.”
