Swedish producer and vocalist Penny has released their debut track titled “CRUCIAL.” “CRUCIAL” is an imperfectly perfect sound avalanche with pulsing bottom and enigmatic elements all around. The unusual, whispering voices contain lyricism about being brought back to life after experiencing paralyzing anxiety as a result of some other people’s statements.

“CRUCIAL” is co-produced by Alex Zethson (Sven Wunder, Mariam the Believer) and Anton Toorell (Receptacles, Dammit I’m Mad, Invader Ace), released on Thanatosis, and was mastered by Hans Olsson at Svenska Grammofonstudion. 

Penny’s debut track, which combines pop choruses and hushed vocals with techno rhythms and sound, is a powerful mission statement. Penny is introduced as an eccentric and exploratory performer who performs outside of the mainstream. Penny creates dirty and gritty electronic pop music. With talent like theirs, there’s no doubt they will elevate to the top of the charts!
