age/sex/location, Ari Lennox’s sophomore album, will be out on September 9 through Dreamville/Interscope Records.
The 12-song album will feature Lennox’s previously released songs “Pressure” and “Hoodie,” as well as other songs.
On September 10, 2021, the former was made available as the album’s lead single. It finally peaked at No. 1, becoming Lennox’s first No. 1 single on either the Billboard or R&B radio charts.
After “On It” with Jazmine Sullivan and “Whipped Cream,” “Pressure” achieved her third gold certification of the year in May with sales of more than 500,000 equivalent units.
The second song from age/sex/location, “Hoodie,” premiered on August 12. The Mez for Heirs-directed music video for the Elite-produced song was premiered. Lennox’s love interest was played by Dreamville associate Isaiah Rashad, while her companion was played by internet comic Khadi Don.
Whether Lennox’s song “Chocolate Pomegranate” will appear on the official tracklist for her next album is not yet known. Since its September 2020 release, it has had more than six million Spotify streams.
