Summer Walker and Amazon Music have partnered up to offer Summer Series (Amazon Music Live) after a surprising collaboration with The Weeknd.

The five-track album captures Walker’s February performance at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia, which was streamed live. With “Unloyal” and “Throw It Away,” two songs from her number-one 2021 album Still Over It, she wowed the sold-out audience.

In Walker’s collection, versions of “Playing Games” and “Session 32” are also included. Her first platinum album, Over It, which was published in 2019, contained the former song. The other single, which is gold-certified, was released in 2018 as a standalone and then appeared on Over It’s entire album in late 2020.

Walker contributed to The Weeknd’s “Best Friends (Remix),” as was already reported. The two musicians have never previously collaborated on a song. The Weeknd’s Dawn FM album from 2022 has the song “Best Friends” in its original form.

Walker has two live appearances coming up. She will perform in New York’s Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater on August 6. After that performance, on August 17, she will perform at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan.
