In promotion of his new EP Disc Two, Josh Levi has planned a headlining tour. The Vices Tour kicks up on August 23 at Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, California, and finishes on September 12 at The Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia.
Levi did not exclude his hometown of Houston, Texas, off the tour schedule. He’ll be at House of Blues – Bronze Peacock on September 4th.
Tickets for Levi’s Vices Tour go on sale on Wednesday, July 20, at 10 a.m. local time, on Levi’s official website.
If you know Levi and his music, you’ll know that his Vices Tour is titled after the song “Vices” from his EP Disc Two, which was released in June.
Levin explained in a spring interview.
“It’s a storytelling song. It’s honest. It’s a vibe — if I do say so myself, It’s about temptation and walking away from relationships that are not good for you. I’ve had my fair share of toxic women, entanglements, or whatever you want to call it. “Vices” is about putting those things down.”
Disc Two is a sequel to Levi’s 2020 project, Disc One. Highlights from the eight-track EP were “All Over Again” and “She Keeps Comin,” as well as a cameo from Normani on “Don’t They (Remix).”
In the same interview, Levi shared how working with Normani on the latter track was “a special little moment.” Levi’s Disc One had the original version. “Don’t They (Remix)” has over 971,000 Spotify streams as of today, making it Levi’s fourth most popular song on the site.
