The countdown to the release of Illumination’s forthcoming animated flick Minions: The Rise of Gru and its soundtrack continues. The official music video for Diana Ross and Tame Impala’s upbeat track “Turn Up The Sunshine” debuts ahead of its global July 1 release.

Neither Ross nor Tame Impala makes live appearances in the video. However, the two appear momentarily as color-coated silhouettes before the Minions steal the show, dancing and grooving to the music.

On May 19, Ross and Tame Impala released “Turn Up The Sunshine” as the first single from the film’s compilation, which was executive produced by Jack Antonoff.
