New releases from Vory’s Lost Souls album and Post Malone’s fourth studio album, twelve-carat toothache, have shockingly resulted in his lowest first-week sales forecasts since 2016’s Stoney, while he still has a decent chance of landing at #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
Posty’s contribution is a gloomy song called “Lemon Tree,” in which the 26-year-old reveals some of his darkest emotions. “Blood on my hands, I’m on the fence, I double down / A swing and a miss, a kick in the ribs, in trouble now,” he croons before reminding us of his strength, which triumphs over all of his anguish.
“Mind Games” is a solo offering about some relationship drama produced by Smash David, FRAXILLE, and JW Lucas from Vory’s first record; if you dig that, you’ll certainly want to hear his “F*ck Being Famous” duet with BEAM, which he also highlighted this weekend.
