Apple’s new iMovie 3.0 update for iPhone and iPad comprises a substantial new Storyboards feature that is intended to make things easier to create videos in the application using pre-built templates. The latest version also includes a feature called Magic Movie, which allows users to make videos from photographs or images on the fly.

Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing mentioned “This latest version of iMovie, featuring Storyboards and Magic Movie, simplifies video creation even further, and we think it will continue to inspire the next wave of video creators to dive in and get started.”
