German-American singer and songwriter, BB Thomaz, recently teamed up with Gato Preto on a soulful track titled ‘Somebody’.

If you like afrobeat, then you should definitely add ‘Somebody’ to your playlist. This song is a reminder that “everybody needs somebody”. Throughout the song, BB paints refined and intimate emotions with her voice. She has a musical style that flows rhythmically, in absolute comfort. 

BB Thomaz was born in New York and later moved to Germany at the age of 6. Growing up, the talented singer didn’t have an easy journey though. However, this didn’t stop her from achieving her dreams. She even taught herself how to play the piano and guitar, and got a Masters degree in Musicology.
