Ari Lennox took to her Twitter on Sunday to express that she’s “done and tired” and she wants to be dropped from the labels.
I want to be dropped from the labels. I’m done and tired.

Earlier, the American R&B singer had an interview with South African podcaster Mac G. Mac G proceeded to ask Lennox a disrespectful question about her sex life, and she was taken back. The podcaster later justified it as being part of the lyrics from her song ‘Pop’. After which, Lennox vowed that she’s never doing interviews again or visiting South Africa.
I will continue to sing about dick when I want! And you misogynistic peasants can continue to jerk off to my music thank you!!!! Good morning

Lennox mentioned that the interview was “the icing on the cake”, referring to her dissatisfaction and unhappiness being tied to record labels. She proceeded to call out those who were attacking her on Twitter and said “You judgmental self hating parasites wouldn’t last a day as a signed artist.”
For Christ sakes. I realize I have no hits. I realize you all can live without hearing my music. I realize my complaining is so aggravating to y’all . I don’t ask blogs to post me when I’m at my worst. You judgemental self hating parasites wouldn’t last a day as a signed artist.
