Just 10 days after it’s release, Spider-Man: No Way Home became the top-grossing movie of the year. Until now, it has made more than $1 billion at the global box office.
The movie that was released on December 17th, had an amazing turnout that exceeded all expectations. Moreover, a lot of movie theatres announced that it’s the first movie since the pandemic to see such a huge turnout. According to several reports, 38 million tickets have been sold since its opening.
These stats make Spider-Man: No Way Home the first movie in the pandemic era to earn more than $1 billion.
The superhero movie, based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, is directed by Jon Watts. As for the cast, Tom Holland stars as Peter Parker (Spider-Man), while Zendaya as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson.
