Commissioned by an American client introduced to Rossinavi by Javier Navarro of Zarpo Yachts, Piacere’s exterior design is by Viareggio-based Horacio Bozzo Design. For the interior styling, Rossinavi’s team of naval engineers worked with Venice -based Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi, who are longstanding collaborators with Rossinavi.
Horacio Bozzo, principal, Horacio Bozzo Design. says, “the boat’s name Piacere, explains its philosophy fully. In fact, Piacere translates into ‘Pleasure’ — and by implication to the enjoyment of life and family. The exterior design concept and the interior and exterior layout was conceived around this basic but universal notion.”
Key design specifications include:
- Beach club on the lower deck featuring a generous lounge area with skylight covering and steam room
- Large salon and dining area in the main deck surrounded by generous floor to ceiling windows. Clear glass bulwarks on outdoor corridors allow for natural light to come in and to enjoy breath taking views of the surroundings
- Elevator connecting all decks up to the sundeck
- Full-beam owner’s suite boasting a private office and lounge area
- Garage for a 23ft/7m yacht tender, a 13ft/4m service boat and a pair of jet-skis. The platform supporting these luxury toys comes out of the boat with a unique technology that Rossinavi has developed specifically for Piacere
- Gym area in the upper deck
- The sundeck area of an exceptional of 1399 sqft/130sqm
- Dining and bar areas in the sundeck are protected by a hard-top and sliding window doors.
“Piacere fully represents the owners and the marriage between style and functionality. It’s a yacht to live “en plein air” in different large external areas designed to meet the needs of all ages aboard. Her minimal lines include design terraces and windows adding personality to the yacht and brightness to the interior spaces,” says Bozzo.
“For the interior, we wanted to create an open and bright environment, enhanced by natural shades and soft shapes for a fresh yet refined atmosphere. Piacere is a timeless and elegant masterpiece and a testament to the made in Italy. Its harmonic forms and clean lines are emphasized by a touch of prestigious materials, which give the interior a refined look,” says Enrico Gobbi, Principal, Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design.
Piacere is an elegant combination of contemporary and modern design with made to measure furniture, accessories and finishes. Enrico Gobbi’s signature style is evident in this project with the mix of flamed walnut and matte finish that are skilfully combined to the essence of light Tay and white lacquered surfaces that result in a chromatic contrast on the walls. The combination of precious materials, including steel and marble, emphasizes the artisanship and preciousness of each single object of carpentry and everything is made in Italy.
“Piacere is the result of an encounter between two families: Rossinavi, a family of builders, and the owner’s close family. Rossinavi carefully listened to the needs and dreams of the owner who shared stories from the extensive experience of enjoying the sea and the desire for a boat entirely tailored to their needs. We are grateful to Javier Navarro for the introduction and for their key support during the development of the project. Wisely designed by Horacio Bozzo and elegantly dressed with interior by Enrico Gobbi, Piacere is our latest full custom design and the result of collaborative partnerships that have been instrumental on so many different levels,” says Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer of Rossinavi.
